These terms are the agreement between you and MagicBooks when you use our website and order our books. By using magicbooks.art, you agree to them.

1. About these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website magicbooks.art and all products and services offered through it (the "Service"), operated by MagicBooks ("we", "us"). If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Who may use MagicBooks

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to make a purchase. MagicBooks is intended for parents, guardians and adults creating books for children. By placing an order you confirm that the details you provide are accurate and that you have the right to use them.

3. Our products

• Custom books — personalized stories generated from the details you provide, delivered as a digital file and, where offered, as a print edition.
• Library books — ready-made stories available to buy individually or in sets.
• Subscriptions — recurring plans that deliver new books on an ongoing basis.

Cover previews and sample images are illustrative. Finished books feature hand-crafted illustrations and may differ in small details from a preview.

4. Orders & payment

Prices are shown on the website and may change at any time. Payments are processed by our reseller and Merchant of Record, Lemon Squeezy, whose checkout terms also apply to your purchase. Your order is confirmed once payment is completed and you receive a confirmation email.

5. Subscriptions & renewals

Subscription plans renew automatically at the interval shown at checkout until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your account or the link in your order emails; cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Please also see our Refund Policy.

6. Delivery

Digital books are delivered by email and/or download link after your order is processed. Print editions, where offered, are produced and shipped by our print partners; delivery times vary by destination. It is your responsibility to provide a correct email and shipping address.

7. Acceptable use

When using the book creator and the Service, you agree not to submit content that is unlawful, hateful, violent, sexual, defamatory, or that infringes anyone's rights, and not to create books that impersonate or harm others. We may decline, edit or refuse to fulfil any order whose content breaches these Terms, and may refund it at our discretion.

8. Intellectual property

The MagicBooks name, logos, website, templates and original artwork are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. For a finished book you purchase, you receive a personal, non-commercial licence to read, print and share that book for personal and family use. You may not resell or commercially exploit our books or artwork without our written permission. The personal details you supply remain yours.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". While we work hard to delight every family, we do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that a finished book will match every expectation. Stories are works of imagination created for entertainment.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MagicBooks will not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid for the order giving rise to the claim.

11. Changes to the Service & Terms

We may update, suspend or discontinue parts of the Service, and may revise these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be posted here with its "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by applicable consumer-protection laws of your country of residence and the laws under which MagicBooks operates. Nothing in these Terms removes statutory rights you may have as a consumer.
